It was while working in ICU, that she had her first patient who experienced a fall at her home and developed serious complications from laying on the ground for a lengthy period of time. Bekah advocates for all elderly, disabled or homebound that live alone or with others, to maintain their independence while having a safety net in case something unplanned occurs.
